As we all know summer time can get very hectic for over planning and being super busy. I've been so slack with my blog it's because there is so much OTG. From birthdays last weekend to weddings and birthdays this weekend, then I have a boatload of family on the way home, on to anniversaries, and a plane trip taking me to another wedding. I simply can't keep up.

And! as with all these events there's the booze. I cannot count how many drinks I've had the last week, and I'd be even worst off trying to account for the week before. I've gone completely overboard. Worst part is I didn't even get any pictures to share my journey with everyone.

Actually, something interesting did happen this week, I was informed that a conversation was had about me. Apparently no one can get over how a small 100 pound, four foot eleven chick, can keep up and put down beer for beer with the bys. I'm suppose to be proud of myself.

Next summer I definitely want to under plan my summer. Just spend time with my daughter. Which I have been doing. So far this past couple weeks we've been swimming twice, I've taken up babysitting her friend we've went for long walks on the beach and I've woken up every single morning next to her in bed for a cuddle. I even let her bring her dog Whiskey back to our home for a week (he lives with her grandma). 

Its the little things you know, Family.  

Speaking of family It was my mans 24th birthday July 6th! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARLING! I LOVE YOU xoxox. 

He's a great father, worker, lover ;) , friend and I wouldn't trade him up for anything.

Our 5th anniversary is on the 17th of this month, lets see if he remembers (lol).

Busy, Busy, Busy!

Life as such we know can be quite full of activity, whereas my life is usually boring, this week I found plenty to do! Don't you just love summer!

Adventures!

I think it was Thursday afternoon me and my friend Ashley took the kids hiking to the lighthouse! We had a picnic and some laughs here are the photos from that adventure!!!

SHANNEYGANOCK!

Saturday night, LIVE in my home town bar! As a favor... SHANNEYGANOCK played! I love this band traditional newfoundland music! these guys are great i broke my rule got wasted! Oh, but it was soooo worth it. Had a blast with family and friend and I think at some point I learned how to jigg? (LOL) I dont know but here are some highlights of the night.

Had to babysit this guy for a day, which actually means my SO had to walk him because hes a great dane and I'm not even five foot (lol) His name is Titan and he like long jogs on the beach!

Also, in accordance to my drinking I drank alot on both saturday and sunday, even last night I shared a bottle of Gallot wine with my SO :) we had a romantic evening together! 

My Private Beach!!!! ...or not so private...

Shoal Point! The most beautiful place in the world! Just so happens I have a camp their! Aren't I lucky!

Here the deal shoal point is a offshore fishing village, I have mentioned it before in a earlier blog, there are three ways to get here maybe four, a hours walk around shore, a boat, and in winter you can come on skidoo. Fourth option, helicopter... were fishermen we don't have fancy helicopters. So, I walked one hour, hard terrain with a back pack containing 16 cold beer, my clothes and the rest of my stuff. I'm 4 10 and 100 pounds, not an easy jaunt I'll have you know.

So, almost perfect weekend until... my beach wasnt so 'private'. mentioning the naked tanning I was doing that all one morning, you know big beach no people on it why the heck not. Then I got up did some chores before all the fishermen showed up and thats fine. The next day who should show up but the fisheries, (water police lol) okay thats fine, then who should I see but more fishery warden walking down out of the woods.. apparently they'd been there the whole day before camped out watching for illegal fishing practices on the beach. Whoops! (facepalm) guess who just got busted for naked tanning by three assholes in the trees! LOL just wonderful. Embarrassed much!

Over all despite having to walk up and back, my new nickname and being laughed at by a bunch of people, it was a wonderful weekend.
